About me

An experienced Business Executive and natural leader, Marcos’ skills cover the areas of Business Development, Sales, Presales, Practice Management, Program and Project Management. Marcos started working in the IT field 17 years ago. Originally from Uruguay, and with Italian nationality as well, his career saw him based in many parts of South and Central America, as well as Europe. During many years, Marcos worked in the Oracle arena, as a Project and Practice Manager. In the last few years Marcos has been working as a Consulting Advisor, giving his advice to several Start-ups, including Insurance, Mobile Application Development companies and Mobile Operators, and participating in short term engagements. Currently Marcos is working as Strategy Manager in a Mobile Apps Development company in Uruguay, that he gave his professional advice in the past, but he’s looking for other roles and opportunities, preferably long term, that could give him the possibility to settle down in a country with a better quality of life, with better a better compensation and where he could continue his career growth.
